The surgery left him with breathing difficulties. But now he also turned to surgery for cosmetic reasons.

His skin by now was noticeably whiter, his nose refined further with more surgery. A cleft had been sculpted into his chin.

The Bad video was spoofed by US comedian "Weird" Al Yankovic - the first time Jackson had been held up to ridicule for his looks so publicly since the jibes he endured from his father as a child.

Dr Karidis - who works at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London - told the News of the World the star must have had at least 20 operations totalling about £130,000.

Some people insinuate and suggest that he just did not want to be black....

It really isnt the most popular race to be...but people are who and what they are....and in the US its probably as bad as anywhere in ....say Eastern europe....Some people will accept any race except the black race.....lotsa history here though...its complicated....

If you look at the pics you can see he really attacked his nose and his lips....doing irreparable damage...

Well, the reason for the nose operation was because his violent father always mocked MJ for having a big nose, also giving him the nickname "Big nose". The rest of the face was his fear of looking like his (again) violent father.

The white skin comes from that he had surgeries removing his pigments (duh). The reason for this was his skin-diseases, including Melanoma and Vitiligo + that he had Lupus. Vitiligo causes white spots on the bearers skin, in Jackson's case, many big spots. Looked awful, so he did what was and would (uhm) look best - removing his pigments, making the man white.

I never heard that about his father but I did hear that the man is an awful creep til this day....betcha hes looking in garbage bags and under the carpet for his money though....old bastard (sorry but everything ive heard about the dad hes an asshole)

He definitely had vitiligo....and lupus...yet another autoimmune disease....and the pigment thing (any alterations he had to his skin) ws to get rid of the spotty look....and who could blame him...I had a friend that had vitiligo and he went through a lot to even his skin tones....and he was white....

Also, you can get plenty of narcotics, after cosmetic surgery.

You can get plenty of narcotics with a cnote and standing on most street corners where I come from....He didnt have to go thru that to get his dope for sure.....Its easier to get narcotics than it is to get decent food. shame.

he was so good looking too, i know what he always said about the skin disease and stuff but i think its shite he did it for purely cosmetic reasons, same as he wanted a non black nose, hair he did the same with his skin
