Hot air balloon gondola hits a house before it comes down
RIO RANCHO, N.M. 10/10/2007 The gondola of a duck hot air balloon nails a house. Amazingly nobody falls out but the worst is yet to come. In the video you can see the balloon hit the ground. It then lifts off again hitting another house colliding with the swamp cooler on the roof. You can see vehicles race to the crash scene. What you don't see is two people getting ejected after it hits the ground again, one of them a woman six months pregnant. She was dragged and then run over by the gondola. 4 people injured, the pregnant woman was airlifted after complaining of severe abdominal pains.   |

Swamp Cooler???? never heard that name for air conditioning

It's not an air conditioner in a traditional sense. They are used in dry climates, where a normal AC wouldn't be very effective. Basically, it's air flowing over water to provide a cooling effect. They are also known as evaporative coolers.
