Re: Final Destination 2.0. brick falls from truck and kills female car passenger
Newton's first law of motion says an object at rest STAYS at rest. An object in motion STAYS in motion. A brick riding North on a truck going 65mph falls off, it continues to move at 65mph North. It is impossible for it to reverse direction. It will lose some speed when it bounces to maybe 55mph North. It bounces again reducing the speed to 35mph North. The brick is hit in mid bounce by a car going 65mphSouth. The brick will not look like it came from the truck, but running along side the truck. Look again and you will see it's origin from BEHIND the truck where it fell off some time before... Physics can be counter-intuitive and get you from where you are not looking. That's how accidents can happen when you think you are doing everything right, only to be dead wrong. |
