he's 'lucky' to be alive. I study medicine in the Netherlands, and i've seen this shit happening, but they always put them together nicely, which is a relief.

The V.A. handles cases like this all the time. It's amazing what can be done in prosthetics. I have held conversations with people who literally had half of their heads missing.
