Some of these are still borns, or fetuses who died in utero and had to be removed to stop infection. Don't believe everything you read.

I'm not here to preach to the choir because I am in fact pro-choice but I do believe there is a time limit. Babies that are fully cooked should not be allowed to be aborted. First trimester only. Otherwise, it's really cruel. People have their reasons to have abortions, and sometimes they are good reasons. I just can't stand skanks who have them as a form of birth control. Wear a condom hoes

I can't speak for most of these pictures, but the very first one I do recognize from a medical article. It is a baby with trisomy 18, a lethal genetic condition that causes babies to be born with severe defects, including severely malformed and non-functioning brain. 90% die within the first few months, after a short and painful life of tube feedings and other unpleasant medical procedures. The few that live past the first few months are usually vegetative, do not speak or walk, are unable to feed themselves or respond to the world around them, and die within a few years, after being kept alive by medical interventions.

If you were pregnant and your 20-week ultrasound and follow-up tests showed that without a doubt your baby had trisomy 18, or another lethal genetic condition that would lead to a short, painful life without any understanding of even being alive, would you still bring that baby into the world? I wouldn't. Even if I wanted a baby very badly, I could not be the mother that deliberately brought a child into this world to suffer and die without even being able to know it was loved.

What about the baby whose lungs have not developed because of a birth defect, and who will not be able to be resuscitated at birth because there are no lungs to work with? Would you rather your baby die inside you, its heart stopped with chemicals before the procedure even started, or live to be born and spend its few minutes on earth gasping and suffocating as it fought for air?

Believe whatever you want about abortion. But if you think it is always wrong, ask yourself who you think you are to condemn a child to a short, agonizing life, and to condemn a family to watch their baby die in pain and misery? Who are you to make that choice? Are you going to stand there holding that dying baby's hand and explain to it that it had to be born because that's what God says?

Be my guest. I, for one, will not make that decision for anyone.
