| Google Extension Won't Uninstall Recently noticed I had real player video downloader as an extension on google chrome. I've disabled and deleted it. Shut down and re-opened chrome. It's still there!!! I go on youtube and I still get the little box asking me If I'd like to download whatever video i am watching.............. I ran an anti virus scan, used many other programs and it doesn't pick up any malware so what could this be?

| Re: Google Extension Won't Uninstall Crikey this is difficult to explain, you have to remove the extension manually.....I assume you didn't use the offline google installer....the folder with all the extensions is located here... C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default It shouldn't be hidden....Look carefully in the folder and delete the 'real player' extension. |
