There has been case were people have been struck by lightning and the charge went through them so fast it hardly left any trace of burns.

Thor god of thunder is very sloppy when it strikes. Could of arched from the tree to the girls finding it an easier path |

I am an Electrician also but work in safety. I have seen this before several times. Very sad.
