Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
I understand. And some of it is very believable. But some looks like some irreparable damage is being done. Also, in some of the shots you can see that her "gear" is clearly on the bathroom floor... not exactly sterile if you ask me. I've seen plenty of dried blood, none of it really quite has that darkened flaky texture it gets when it dries up (then again the pictures aren't close enough for that detail). The drops seem pretty realistic as blood likes to run down arms to the floor and spill in drops, and that is visible from the photographs. Again, not 100% convinced, but some looks pretty real. Some not real shit: << whats with the blood pool over the rats and air duct grate? << a massive blood clot, a piece of her liver, her sphincter??Some shit I naturally question: << serious, serious incision. Like I said, sliced tendon? Fatty tissue, this girl is bone thin... *shrugs* I'm not sure but are most of these wounds being sewn up by herself? I'm just not entirely buying it is all. << for as deep as she goes, this heals really well. i mean i've seen a good share of sutures, and scars from emergency room sutures that don't wind up that thin or neat looking (though I suppose a good majority of these are lacerations, or jagged/torn flesh). And I suppose she is using razors so the cut is neat as opposed to the laceration wounds that happen by tearing or blunt trauma. Again, I'm not 100% convinced real, but if fake.. they've done a good job, clearly. If real, this is pretty damn bad, and obviously she (or if someone is helping her) has some medical skill. These really mess with me for the size, depth, placement, severity... etc: ![]() ![]() ![]() One thing that looks realistic is the bumpy skin from scar tissue and all that, plus some of the scar tissue itself. But for as deep as some of these incisions go, where is the pus, sloughy or granulation tissue, exudate, or surrounding redness... etc. All the things you would associate with a deep wound, in my mind. I realize you might not get all that with cutting, but as deep or wide and some of these wounds go... |

Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
i know several cutters who actually do their own stitching. i've given thought to it myself, but as i'm not trained, i decided against it. i steri-strip and pressure bandage mine. i usually only go one inch deep, but the deepest i ever went was 2 inches down, i was suicidal then and aiming for the femoral artery. that one got me into surgery and locked up for almost three weeks. some cutters cut as deeply as i do, some only shallow like you see in other pictures. since many of my online friends are regularly stitched i don't find it unusual that we cut deeply, it's just what we do. we either don't feel the pain, or we do and we feel we deserve it. i don't feel the pain when i cut. i semi disassociate or even completely so. i do wish however, to leave it behind me. i am getting better now.
