Pictures from the USA will hit a raw nerve compared to similar pictures from a 3rd world country. Too many pictures from the USA - especially US soldiers - will probably shut this site down.

ogrish was under a lot off pressure from the pictures and videos they posted and the last straw was when they posted a video or pictures of a South Korean beheading in Iraq/Afghanistan. They then become a target of hackers and no longer exist.

Apparently you don't know my background, there is NO way they will shut this site down. I have the best lawyers on retainer to make sure of it.

I think this too, it makes no sense in the same way to me it doesnt really make sense when people go onto chat show to uncover their loved ones to be cheating, surely it would be more dignified to do that in private...

we've all been desensitized by the media, think about how 50 years ago how it was taboo to even show a flushing toilet on tv. now adays we see things like this in the news etc... I am reminded of the news about the conflict in south africa about 4-5months ago and the news showing corpses being torched on the streets etc

I think the news will get away with that because it's way over in Africa, let them try and show that stuff if it happened here in the US, people would go nuts lol

Re: Nicole Catsouras Lost Control Porsche Hits Toll Booth GORY PICTURES

One thing that has been so horrible about these pictures being posted is how HORRIBLE people are being about it. Someone sent the picture of Nikki to her cousin's cell phone a few days after she died. I'm sure that's not what her cousin wanted to see...

And it's apparently been so bad that the parents have started to homeschool their other girls for fear that they would be taunted, and that someone would be cruel enough to show the gory photos to her sisters.

People are bastards...saying that a teenager driving a porsche deserves to die because they have no business in a $150,000 car. My car will go 120mph...and it's just a freaking sedan! Nothing special...and if Nikki had been driving it (and granted my car was actually a convertible, which it's not) that day this same thing would have happened.

It has made me a safer driver, though. I watch my speed thanks to these photos.

Re: Nicole Catsouras Lost Control Porsche Hits Toll Booth GORY PICTURES

One more thing:

I thought the coroner said there was NO alcohol in her system when she died. Her dad told the police she had been drinking so that they would go and find Nikki faster. Until he told them she was drinking, the police weren't too concerned with finding her. But drinking put others at risk and thus they would have gone out to find her if they didn't get a call that she was already dead.

So she wasn't drinking.

And she had done cocaine the night before. She had done it once before and ended up in the hospital because of a severe reaction to it. She had an inoperable brain tumor and it caused her to freak out more than usual when she introduced coke into her body.

And to everyone saying the dad should have hid his keys...aside from the experimenting with cocaine, Nikki had not been a troublemaker. What reason did he have to hide his car keys? I grew up in a posh town (I lived in the older, not so posh part) and NOBODY I knew EVER stole their parents' cars. They had their own cars (nice ones, too). Infinitis, Mercedes, BMWs, Escalades...Nikki had a car, but her dad forbid her to drive it the night before when they got in a fight.

From what I've read about Nikki she was, for the most part, a responsible person. The keys were hung up with all the other car keys...much like in my house and the houses of friends I had in high school. The cars were right there for taking...but knowing how screwed they would be if they ever took the car without permission, they never drove them. I know I never took my parents' or my siblings' cars without permission.

I've driven under the influence of hypnotics (prescription sleep aids), and my brother has a DUI on his record. We did these absolutely moronic things because we were young and didn't even realize how STUPID we were being. Mainly I hadn't understood how much Ambien affected me, and my brother had just started drinking and didn't understand how alcohol affected him. Neither of us got hurt or hurt anyone else -- though it was very possible. My point is, now, six years later, we wouldn't dream of doing something like that. I am completely over speeding, and done with thinking I am invincible. Unfortunately, Nikki wasn't. She didn't get the chance to fully grow up. And saying she deserves death is a bit harsh...she was doing something stupid, we all agree. But a young girl's death is still tragic, no matter how it happened.

I am really glad that Nikki took herself out before she managed to kill anyone else.

I work with children, and I like working with kids most of the time. However, I am sick of society's hostility towards caretakers -- kids can literally get away with ANYTHING and adults who attempt to discipline will often face backlash.

What else is there to do, but to let the kids face the natural consequences?

i can't believe her parents are suing about this. it's a good warning to teens not to drive recklessly, especially in a car they can't handle...and also a good warning to other numskull parents not to lend out their high-end speedsters to irresponsible offspring.
