20 million will ease their pain? Yeah, right.

If it weren't for the parents $20 million lawsuit, I never would have known about these photos. Do they really think money is going to solve whatever grief they have about their daughter's gruesome accident? It won't. But I am sure they are of the mindset that since a mistake was made by some peon who released the photos, they will capitalize on it by getting more cash out of it. Shrewd. The dad already knows how to make cash since he owns a $150K Porsche that he doesn't even drive daily and lives in an expensive community. If he really loves his daughter he would take any money he wins and donate it to a worthy cause in her name or set up a charitable foundation in her name that helps teens or something that promotes responsible driving. But I bet he won't. Money does not change grief/sadness/depression, it just lets you buy more things. And any "loss of consortium" between the parents is from guilt and nothing else. I am sure she was a great girl who made a really bad choice that day. We will never know the real truth why she took the car. But teens have little impulse control. And a Porsche has a lot of "awe" surrounding it. Dad should have never left his keys there. Maybe it's his guilt that contributes to his need for more money. The pics really are intriguing but only to say that life is precious and even a $150K car can't protect you from reckless driving. Maybe the 20 y.o. whose car was hit should sue these people for $20 million for all the trauma (mental of course) that he has endured. But then again, maybe he actually isn't sue-happy like half the U.S who use lawsuits to get ahead and get out of working for a living.

think about it....

Have some respect for the family.
Put yourself in there position if it was your daughter would you want these pictures distributed?

You should really consider taking these photographs down. Theres no need for an "extra added effect." Give the family some closure, and help them work towards getting these pictures removed. This isn't a joke. A family has been torn apart and made a mockery of. Just think if it was you in there position. Do whats right, and take the pictures down.

Thumbs up Why Respect the family???

Why have any respect for the family....they sure didn't have enough respect for the general public by teaching their daughter it was OK to drive 100mph plus. I'm a long haul trucker , and have been for over 15years, I've seen it all. If she was doing over a 100 like they say ...she deserves to be dead. I know if she crashed into my truck doing that speed , I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.....Post The Pics again.

I doubt you would really feel that way if it was your child. No one deserves to die this way. No one deserves to die for making a mistake, especially considering she was just a teenager.

You say you are a trucker. Well, truck drivers cause more accidents on the highways than any other class of vehicle. There isn't a week in my area where the beltway does not have at least two 18 wheelers who have crashed and many of these take innocent other drivers with them.

Crash Photos

The only photos I found on this site were only of the car. If anyone knows where I can find the complete set of photos of the wreck please let me know. I don't think people should be sending the family emails and photos of this tragedy as they have suffered a horrible loss. No one made that girl take the car, or drive that fast. It was an accident. Her family shouldn't receive 20 million dollars either. It was tragic and horrible, but why should they receive that money, didn't they get paid enough to be on 20/20?? I agree if their emails are full of horrible pictures they should be asking themselves which of their friends could be that cruel because if you don't give your email out people don't get it! As I said if anyone has the pictures or knows where I can see them, please let me know. I hope her family gets nothing from their lawsuit. The fact they are trying to capitalize on their daughter's death is worse than the accident itself!

I am not a trucker nor is any member of my family so don't go there! Truckers are the safest drivers on the road. It is the idiot motorists in their little cars zooming in and out of traffic that cause so many of the accidents that the poor truckers get blamed for!! If the average motorist thought for a minute they would realize those big trucks can't stop on a dime and they might drive a little better themselves if they realized how stupid they were being.

You better check your statistics ma'am...Truck drivers react to cars and other vehicles around them, and if they are involved in an accident it's generally...(most of the time) caused by the smaller vehicles. Don't believe everything the scare mongers at the law offices are spouting off. P.S.....I'm Canadian, and I have not been brainwashed by the American Media.
