Re: Burned Bodies
Simply googling "eastern bloc massacre" could this possibly be the April 9th tragedy, aka Tbilisi Massacre, Tbilisi tragedy? Wikipedia saying April 9, 1989, when an anti-Soviet demonstration was dispersed by the Soviet Army, resulting in 20 deaths and hundreds of injuries. Here's the Wikipedia link if any of you would like to read more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_9_tragedy |

Re: Burned Bodies
No, the title in the previous OP ("Eastern bloc massacre") was quite generic, there have been thousands upon thousands of massacres in the eastern bloc, i'm afraid These photos are from the East Prigorodny Conflict (Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, 1989-1992) an ethnic war between local Ingush and Ossetian paramilitary forces. The ones in the photos are some of those 600. More photos can be found here and here, some info here. |
