Hear hear! Bullfighting is about the most stupidly bizarre sport in existence. I mean, it is one thing to make a bull run through a cape and dance out of the way in the last instant - that takes a lot of skill and definitely a huge set of cajones. Something to cheer for, at any rate, for sure. But when you start sticking spears in the bull's shoulders and then in the end, casually execute the poor fucking thing... yeah... it just goes to show that some people have some really stupid cultural values. Yeah, animal cruelty for sport: that's fucking intelligent. But then again, it is nowhere as bizarre or fucked up as people gathering in the tens of thousands in this frighteningly tiny plaza to kiss a fucking piece of rock and trampling each other to death in the hundreds in order to do it - like those ragheaded freaks do over in Mecca (or where ever in the fuck over there that they do it). Yeah, culture. It is definitely true that these are both manifestations of culture, but of what - cultured mold? Label it with culture if you want, but culture or not, stupid is still just plain fucking stupid. |

if this stupid bunch were to abolish such sport,,,, i won't be able to point a finger at those newly aquired assholes and laugh. death is death,,, be it an animal or human. we poke fun at humans meeting their odd demise yet we get all jello'ed when it comes to this stuff. would you rather watch some rainbows, bunnies, and unicorns for entertainment? not me, i'd stick watching these assholes get new assholes. sorry for the bull, but then life is a bitch then you die. |
